
350 bulletproof vests were stolen from a truck parked at Ultra City on August 21. This incident was reported to police at 7.45pm.
According to police spokesperson Captain JS Sokhela the truck driver parked and left his vehicle unattended for about 15 minutes.
He went into the shop and upon his return, drove off to Durban.
When he arrived in Durban, he realised that he’d been robbed of over 300 bulletproof vests.
Police are offering a reward to anyone who has information that could lead to the arrest and successful conviction of the suspect/s.
