Purging crime from the CBD

Business owners in the Central-Business District (CBD) have had enough of escalating crime and lawlessness.

Owing to this, the ‘Safe CBD’ project will be launched, with the aim of being able to provide Newcastle shoppers with a safe, secure environment to shop for bargains in the CBD.

By partnering with the police and private security companies, the organisers of the project hope to achieve this goal.The project is still in its planning phases, but businesses have already begun pledging their support.
