Detectives crack housebreaking cases

The four suspects face charges of housebreaking and possession of suspected stolen property

Ladysmith Detective Services arrested four suspects in housebreaking cases on Friday. The officers started duty early on Friday morning, conducting searches while following up on information recently sourced.

They were successful in making four arrests in three separate housebreaking cases. Various items – including laptops, power tools and cameras – were recovered. The recovered property is valued at about R40,000.

Detectives are confident of more arrests and recoveries in the near future.

The four suspects, aged between 18 and 35, appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning (today). They face charges of housebreaking and possession of suspected stolen property.
