
A case of burglary has been opened after eight brush cutters and two chainsaws were stolen from the Umtshezi Municipality storeroom. The incident was reported to police on October 23 after an employee was alerted that the storeroom had been burgled.
“According to the complainant she last checked the storeroom on September 30 and on October 23 she received a report that the storeroom was broken into. When she checked she found that the padlock was broken and entry was gained,” commented police spokesperson Captain JS Sokhela.
