Tuesday, I was in a flat panic! I had cause to send vast amounts of data to a government department, and I had woken to the fact that I had miscalculated the deadline.

I am computer savy (to a certain degree) but haven’t got a fully-fledged pilot’s license, and realised that I had wasted the last hour doing the ‘scanning and computer thing’. In desperation I took a trip to PC Connect to ask a really stupid question (in retrospect, I know it was stupid) but I had to try every avenue.

There was Jason, manning the desk and he took in the desperate tone in my voice, the stupid questions, and bless his heart, he came to my rescue by scanning all my stuff into different files then emailing it to me.

How do you do it Jason?! Needless to say, I made the deadline, breathed a huge sigh of relief and had a relaxed afternoon.

Thank you Jason, you are always polite and now you have saved my bacon. That is service!!
