A Warrant of Arrest has been issued for 36 year old Johannes Thomas Makgwa. Makgwa was involved in a theft by pretences case in Ladysmith in December 2014.
On December 21 a vehicle was sold to Makgwa during which time he signed a debit order for payment of the vehicle knowing that he had insufficient funds in the account.
The seller of the vehicle never received any payment and never saw or heard from Makgwa again.
The matter was reported to police and a case was opened. Makgwa’s current whereabouts are unknown but he is reported to frequent the areas of Harrismith, Brakpan, Warden, Katlehong, Germiston, Nigel, Duduza and Tsakane (Gauteng).
