A group of students who were minutes earlier preparing for examinations are reeling from shock after they were attacked at gunpoint and robbed in Loskop on Tuesday, June 2.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel TM Mabaso reported that the study group met at a student’s home in the Ngonyameni area at about 6pm. At about 8.30pm, the learners were on their way back home when four unknown men intercepted them.
The men armed with firearms robbed the students of their cell phones, school bags and clothes. A case has been opened at the Amangwe Police Station, no arrests have been made.
