Meridian unites schools through sport

Meridian Newcastle recently hosted a sports day for neighbouring schools in Madadeni.

The aim of the tournament was for Meridian staff to get to know schools in the area and foster a relationship of sportsmanship and camaraderie among pupils.

The following schools and teams participated in the tournament:

– Zabalaza Combined School.

– Siyamukela High School.

– Bethamoya High School.

– Meridian Newcastle.

– Phendukani u/14.

– Zabalaza Combined School.

– Phendukani u/16.

– Sabela High School.

The school congratulated all those who participated in the tournament and thanked its staff for being excellent hosts.

They also thanked Fruit and Veg City for sponsoring oranges to the pupils.
