Mr Engar was beaten and stabbed to death by at least four assailants

The brutal murderers of 67-year-old Mohamed Engar have been found guilty.

Engar and his wife Razia, who was tortured with a hot iron during the attack, were living on the farm Noodhulp.

The attack took place in December 2013.

According to testimony presented in court, Razia Engar was burnt repeatedly with an iron during the attack.

Mr Engar was beaten and stabbed to death by at least four assailants.

Sifiso Mabuza, Lindelani Mtshali, Sabelo Ndolovu and Mduduzi Nene, all from Ekuvukeni, were found guilty. Two other people charged with the crime were acquitted as the state failed to prove a case against them.
