A 31-year-old man was arrested for burglary in Utrecht recently.
This follows an incident that occurred at the victim’s place of business in Van Rooyen Street at about 10.30pm.
The victim heard a noise while playing cards and immediately contacted police.
Upon arrival, police found the suspect in the shop. He was arrested and detained at the police station.
The suspect is expected to appear before a Utrecht court soon.
Police investigations continue.
