With the cold becoming more and more severe, the homeless and underprivileged need all the help they can get. Through the support of the community, winter essentials are being collected and will be distributed at the end of July.

While many of us can easily escape the clutches of the biting cold, finding warmth in our work places and homes, there are a lot of people within our community who cannot enjoy this comfort.

The plight of the homeless and underprivileged has touched a few hearts of members of the Estcourt community who are willing to aid these families. The level of commitment shown enough to bring you to tears.

Through your kindness and generosity, these men, women and even children can face the rest of winter, knowing their chances of fighting off the weather’s elements are a lot better. As the voice of the community, we are thankful to the residents of Estcourt who made a contribution towards the initiative.

Food, clothing or warm blankets can be dropped off at the Estcourt News offices at 68 Connor Street.
