An intensive investigation by the Ladysmith Detective Services on Tuesday resulted in three suspects, aged between 24 and 41, being arrested and stolen property recovered.
This after a house in the Roosboom area was burgled sometime between February and July this year. The homeowner was out of town at the time. Her house was broken into and various items stolen, including a stove, pots, curtains, a bed and a door.
A neighbour who was checking on the house discovered the break-in and reported it to the owner.
It was then reported to the police, and a case of housebreaking and theft was opened.
The suspects are due to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court soon.
