Hope is in sight for the Pepworth family, after a representative from the Dundee Provincial hospital visited the family to redress the hospital horrors they had suffered.
This comes after 80-year-old Myrtle Pepworth received tractioning on the wrong leg on March 2.
While Mrs Pepworth was on the road to recovery, the road to redress was at first littered with obstacles as the redress meeting was slightly delayed as highlighted in the Courier on July 10. However, an investigator has since visited the family and has obtained statements from the parties involved.
An investigation was also promised by the investigator to the family. Public Relations Officer, Sbonelo Dube, was contacted for comment but at the time of going to print no comment had been received.
