Two men who escaped from custody at the Madadeni Court, and took a woman after fleeing in a Correctional Services bakkie, are currently on the run.   More on the Newcastle Advertiser site that broke the story.

The men made a dash for freedom at around midday in a Correctional Services vehicle, taking a woman hostage with them. There were said to be armed and dangerous.

It appears as if the bakkie was later found near Madadeni with the woman at the back of the vehicle.  The prisoners are assumed to be on foot and a police manhunt is continuing
