New beginnings for Old Mutual

Old Mutual staff held a roof wetting party last Friday afternoon at their new premises.

After the roof collapsed at the old premises, Old Mutual decided to move from Block C to Block A, at the business centre near New Active Gym.

Now working in one complex alongside Old Mutual Personal Finance Advice (PFA) and Mutual and Federal, the Newcastle community is sure to benefit.

“It is now a one stop service,” said Gert du Plessis, Old Mutual’s sales manager.

Excited about the new beginning, Mr du Plessis said the party signified the celebrations to ensure clientele received the best possible service.

Vikash Maharaj congratulated staff for working to the best of their ability with minimum resources while the new offices were being renovated. “It showed true character, working in those conditions and holding the Old Mutual flag high.”

Mayor, Afzul Rehman congratulated the Old Mutual staff on their new building and wished them the best of luck, before cutting the ribbon and declaring the office officially open.
