A man was brutally gunned downed and killed outside his home in Ezakheni E-Section on Saturday night.
It was about 7.30pm when 56-year-old Nkosinathi Msomi parked in his driveway and got out of the car to open the gate. That’s when unknown gunmen opened fire and killed him.
According to local police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig, the deceased sustained multiple gunshot wounds, resulting in his death.
Ezakheni detectives are investigating a case of murder. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
The deceased, who was known to the community of Ezakheni as a “loan shark”, will be dearly missed by family, friends and the community at large.
