BREAKING NEWS: Pedestrian dragged to her death in freak accident
The victim asked the driver to pull over because she was feeling nauseous. No one could predict what would happen next.
A pedestrian was tragically killed after being hit by a taxi on the P483 this morning.
“Reports suggest she was travelling in a car and felt nauseous,” said ER24 spokesperson, Jan Henk van Vuuren. “She asked the driver to pull over and she exited the car from the driver’s side.”
The victim was hit by a taxi and dragged for about 10 metres. Paramedics from both private and provincial services responded to the scene.
Unfortunately, she was declared dead on arrival.
“Police attended the scene to investigate the exact cause of the accident,” concluded Mr van Vuuren.
