Water leaks in Farquhar Road

There is also an open manhole next to the road, which poses a danger to learners who walk that route on a daily basis

Water continues to leak out from numerous burst pipes around town, angering residents as many areas are left without water for hours on end.

There is currently a water leak in Farquhar Road outside Klip River High School…

According to resident Peter de Bruin, the pipe has been leaking for over 3 weeks already. He adds that there were initially 2 leaking pipes, one on either side of the road. uThukela went out and fixed 1 leak, but left the other 1 unattended to.

Next to the road, there is also an open manhole which poses a danger to learners who walk that route on a daily basis. A child could easily fall into the gaping hole and injure themselves.
