Water flows like a river in Delhi Road

A burst water pipe in Delhi Road has caused water to flow like a river since last night (Saturday), right through till this morning.

The pipe burst last night around 10pm and the clean water was left flowing until this morning around 9am, when the valves were closed by uThukela workers.

Many residents said that the water was flowing more than Klip River, so much water that it was like a dam.

The water gushed out, creating a huge hole in the ground.

Many residents in the area were left without water since this morning and according to uThukela, water will be back on in the area around 1pm this afternoon.
