Seven injured in early morning crash

Seven people were injured in a three-car collision on the R34 near Utrecht on October 31.

Paramedics from both private and provincial emergency medical services responded to the scene during the early hours of the morning.

“The injured patients were transported to Madadeni and Vryheid hospitals for further care,” said ER24 spokesperson, Jan Henk van Vuuren.

The exact cause of the incident remains unclear at this stage. Further investigations continue.

Vehicle overturns near the N11 bridge

Four people were slightly injured when the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned on Allen Street on Saturday, October 31.

Mr van Vuuren said the incident occurred near the N11 bridge during the early hours.

“The cause of the accident is unknown and will remain subject to further investigations,” he concluded.
