The refuse left behind by municipal workers each week left a  resident angered when returning from work to find litter strewn everywhere.

Homeowner, Mrs DF Tredoux, said she is tired of cleaning up after municipal workers who fail to do their jobs correctly.

“Am I paying for refuse to be disposed of in my driveway and pavement?” questioned Mrs Tredoux.

“My driveway is not a refuse disposal site; I am constantly wondering what scene awaits me as I return home from work,” expressed Mrs Tredoux.

She suggested that the Estcourt Animal Shelter help with stray dogs roaming around that also tend to trash refuse bags before refuse collection.Mrs Tredoux would like the matter to be addressed with urgency.

Her concerns have been relayed to the acting municipal manager’s office.
At the time of going to print no response was received from the municipality.
