Kick-start for new Glencoe housing development

Housing construction is expected to start at the end of February while a landscaping specialist has been hired to see to the aesthetics of the development.

The Glencoe housing development at the entrance to the town enjoyed a kick-start with the official launch and the open day on Saturday.
Eighteen plots were sold on the day.
The Humana Development, where plot are being sold from a starting price of R650 000 (all costs included) , will start in January when the contractor will start with ground work i.e. earth moving, sewerage, electrical, water, roads and fencing.
According to orders placed, the installation of the electrical upgrading cable, contract value R1.8- million, will commence on January 15.

Developer, CP Momberg, said ‘this is one of a few complexes in the area that will be a secure housing development with only three entrances to the property that makes it a very safe environment. It is also ideally located close to schools, churches and shopping centre.’
