Swimmers rise to the top

About 300 swimmers from more than 20 schools from in and around Newcastle showcased what they had learned, over four days at the Swim Studio’s bi-annual Awards Days.

Over the course of 21 years, the Swim Studio has remained afloat.

Focusing on both water safety and the exact techniques of all four Olympic swim strokes, Swim Studio teaches for a lifetime of recreation and peace of mind for parents.

“Once strokes are reasonably mastered at around the age of nine and 10, swimmers may move on to fitness and competitive training with coaches from swim clubs,” explained instructor, Camille Honiball.

The Swim Studio boasts talented swimmers now featured in both Aqua Adrenaline and Newcastle swimming clubs, young stars who perform consistently well.

“Although only a very small percentage of swimmers eventually choose to swim competitively, everyone likes to be able to swim well.”
