A kitten that not only has the look of a lion but has proved to have the heart of one too.
Cheryl Rundgren took pity on the kitten on Monday when she discovered him in the carport behind her place of work, Acutt and Worthington, on Gladstone Street.
“He was covered in oil – for some strange reason – and could not walk.” she said. She immediately contacted Dundee’s own catlady, Michelle Fleischman, who took the struggling kitten down to Dr Ashleigh Owen at Mpati Vet.
“They have taken great care of him. He has had numerous baths to get the oil out of his fur. Cheryl Rundgren has offered to give him a home.”

Fears are that the kitten may have also suffered some kind of brain damage.
How he came to be covered in oil still remains a mystery. For now he has been dubbed Grease Monkey or Slick – but this may still change.
