Full and overflowing

Last year, the dam was 100.8 percent full in February

The Wagendrift Dam wall is quite a sight, with a strong overflow, an indicator that the dam is over 100 percent full.

In fact Wagendrift Dam, which is fed from the Bushmans River, is 101.3 percent full; this is according to the weekly statistics provided by the Water and Sanitation Department.

Last year, the dam was 100.8 percent full in February.

The Mearns Dam in Mooi River is 103.5 percent full and the Driel Barrage Dam is 100 percent full.

These three dams are the only three in KwaZulu-Natal to reach the 100 percent mark.
