Businessman arrested for drug possession
The recovered drugs have an estimated street value of R300

A 31-year-old businessman was arrested at his business premises yesterday for possession of drugs.
Acting on information received, K9 Unit officers pounced on the man at his place of business, which is situated in a shopping complex.
The officers searched the business and found the man in the toilet.
It is believed he was sitting and ‘snorting’ drugs.
Caught totally by surprise, the man was arrested for possession of CAT.
The recovered drugs have an estimated street value of R300.
Methcathinone (which goes by the street name CAT) is a highly addictive drug, similar to crack cocaine. Other names the drug goes by are Jeff, Bathtub Speed, Wannabe-Speed, Kitty, Meth’s Cat and Meth’s Kitten.
