Sarel athletes bring home gold medals
The school is immensely proud of their achievements.
Four of Sarel’s athletes were selected for the Umzinyathi team to participate in Durban at the KZN Athletics Trials from March 11 to 13. Mbuso Mncube and Christo Maré won gold medals in high jump and hammer throw respectively.
The school is immensely proud of their achievements. The school also wants to thank the parents and teachers who supported the athletes.
Voortrekker
On March 12, Sarel Cilliers’ rugby, hockey and netball teams were invited to a tournament at Voortrekker in Pietermaritzburg. The teams had to play seven matches each and face tough competition.
As usual they did really well and won most of their matches. It is good preparation for the season formally starting next term.

The u/14 and u/15 teams will take part at the Rugby Festival in Volksrust and the u/16 team will go to the Vryheid Rugby Festival. The first team will go to Parys.
