Thieves target televisions and food
Police urge resident not to buy stolen goods

The burglars behind the latest crime rampage in Dundee are hungry for television sets, appliances and food. A television set and food were taken when thieves broke into a Lindelani house on April 12-13. A tablet and cellphone were stolen when burglars struck at the Henk Ten complex near Pensymons Street also on April 12.
Three speakers were removed from a car during a theft out of a motor vehicle incident late on the night of April 12. The left rear window of the car had been broken.
Police have urged residents to report anyone ‘who they may believe be in possession of stolen property’.
“It is a crime to buy stolen property. Please call the police on 034 2999 700 to report crime,” said spokesperson, Captain Mbense.
