Bazaar happenings at La Gratitude

Guests enjoyed a host of homemade items for sale, the atmosphere buoyed by singing from Andre Smit and Marlize Wilson

NEWCASTLE – Saturday’s La Gratitude bazaar was a time for fun and celebration.

Guests enjoyed a host of homemade items for sale, the atmosphere buoyed by singing from Andre Smit and Marlize Wilson, ballroom dancing and the Klein Spoortjies ‘Dancing Dollies’.

However, the day’s highlight was the generosity of the Chinese community.

Marlize Wilson of La Gratitude explained the Tzu Chi Foundation had earlier donated clothing and an amount of R2 000 towards La Gratitude.

She expressed her sincere gratitude for the donation, and to all who contributed to the day’s success.
