The initiative coincided with Youth Day, as part of Domino’s way of celebrating the country’s youth.

The aim of the Pizza Fanatics Week was to have as many children as possible, from Grade 0 to Grade 3, go through the store in one week.

St Dominic’s pupils were escorted through the pizzeria, and taught about the history of pizza making, the importance of hygiene and food preparation.

While delighted about the experience to see what happened behind the scenes of the establishment, Domino’s staff also took the time to teach the children how to make pizzas and awarded each of them with a commemorative certificate.
