School gives back to the community
This community outreach project highlights Lasec’s fervent desire to be a cornerstone and pillar in society
A team of educators from Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec), together with local Good Samaritans Mr Vee Mannilal and Mrs Pat Pillay, proudly carried the Lasec banner high when they visited the paediatric ward at Ladysmith Provincial Hospital on Youth Day (June 16).
This community outreach project highlights Lasec’s fervent desire to be a cornerstone and pillar in society. Children and their mothers were treated to delicious chicken soup that was prepared and sponsored by the Royal Hotel, who have pledged their allegiance to the school in assisting them with future community outreach projects.

The principal and staff of Lasec would like to use this platform to place on record their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Royal Hotel for their support and unstinting generosity the school endeavours to instil in the youth, the future leaders of our country.
