Capped as little Sharks
Four Monument Primary School rugby players were capped as Sharks rugby players in the U/12 and U/13 age groups
On June 8, a prestigious rugby capping ceremony took place in Durban. For the first time in history, the Primary Schools KZNRU sides were officially branded as The Sharks.
The four sides will travel to their respective national tournaments as The Sharks and wear the official Sharks logo on their jerseys. Four Monument Primary School rugby players were capped as Sharks rugby players in the U/12 and U/13 age groups.
During the function, union delegates, CEO Mr John Smit, Mr Sean Everitt (Sharks coach) and Mr Tera Mtembu (Sharks player) spoke to the young rugby players.
Congratulations to Philimseni Mvemve, Ntando Zwane, Musa Mpoungose and Qiniso Sithole who will attend the rugby weeks in Sasolburg and Vryheid.
