On Thursday, July 20 Colenso Visible Policing members arrested two suspects aged 39 and 23. The men were arrested at their places of residence in the Msuluzi and Nkanyezi areas.
The first suspect was found in possession of loose dagga that was stored in a plastic bag. It weighed in at 2.9 kilograms and is valued at R4 500.
The second suspect was found to be in possession of 125 ‘pokes’ of dagga. The recovered pokes weighed 700 grams and are valued at R1 500.
Both suspects appeared in the Colenso Magistrate Court on Thursday, July 21.
