Police get back to basics with Operation High Density
532 vehicles, 1007 people and 11 premises were searched
A multi-disciplinary crime prevention operation was held on Friday in the Uthukela Cluster, entailing several roadblocks as well as cordon and search operations.
This was part of ‘Operation High Density – Back to Basics’.
532 vehicles, 1007 people and 11 premises were searched. Four licensed firearms were verified and 36 notices were issued for traffic-related crimes.
One person, a 38-year-old female, was arrested for selling liquor without a licence. She will have the option to pay an admission of guilt fine or appear in court today (Monday).
