Cash was stolen after five armed men barged into a store in Bergville this afternoon (August 25).
A Chinese man was shot during the robbery.
It is believed that an Opel bakkie with registration 43877 was hijacked by the robbers and that they were last seen in the Bell Park area. If you see this vehicle, please contact the police immediately.
It is believed that the gang is made up of about 10 men who are heavily armed and dangerous. Today’s was the second attack on the Chinese national in five days.
