Three nabbed for dealing dagga in Colenso

The drug weighed 80 kilograms and is valued at R12 000

Three men aged between 20 and 56 appeared in the Weenen Magistrates’ Court on Monday for dealing in dagga.

Vigilant Colenso police officers were patrolling along the R103 main road between Colenso and Estcourt on Friday, August 19 when they detected a suspicious-looking bakkie.

The vehicle was pulled over for a routine check and on searching the vehicle, the officers found three bags containing loose dagga.

The drug weighed 80 kilograms and is valued at R12 000. The vehicle was impounded by police.
