A suspect wanted for house robbery, as well as other criminal activities, was shot by police this afternoon (August 28) at the intersection of Dry Road and Short Street.
It is believed that police received a tip-off that the man was in a taxi.
The suspect sustained one gunshot wound and was taken to hospital.
