Ray Jeffries called to rest
A memorial service was held for Arnold Raymond Jeffries, affectionately known as "Ray," at the Methodist Church in President Street on August 25, where those who knew him celebrated his life, a good innings of 91 years.

A memorial service was held for Arnold Raymond Jeffries, affectionately known as “Ray,” at the Methodist Church in President Street on August 25, where those who knew him celebrated his life, a good innings of 91 years.
As the old hymn goes, “So shall it be at last, in that bright morning, When the soul waketh and life’s shadows flee; Oh, in that hour, fairer than daylight dawning, Shall rise the glorious thought, I am with Thee…”
