DANNHAUSER police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a two-year-old boy was accidentally killed by his grandfather on September 11, in Durnacol.

According to police reports, the man was reversing his vehicle when he knocked over the toddler. He was immediately rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
Dannhauser police officer, Sergeant Nyembe urged all drivers to be vigilant of their surroundings before driving.
“Please check first whenever reversing that all children are visible, and if not so, stop and make sure.”
