…And the rain continues to fall
Are you rejoicing after rain pours over Endumeni?
Prayers have been answered falling widespread rain throughout the area. The rain started falling early on Saturday morning, accompanied by thunder that rumbled over Endumeni just after 7am yesterday.
The light rain has brought some relief to the parched land. Some farmers have described the current drought as the worst since 1902.
Endumeni is totally reliant on water pumped from Chelmsford dam into the Buffalo River from where water is extracted for Endumeni at Tayside.
