Snakes alive – look what Pieter caught

Snake season is definitely alive and well in the Endumeni area… Mr Slang, Pieter van der Merwe, was kept busy last week with two call outs to capture and remove rock pythons.
The first one was on a farm in the Wasbank area and was a giant at almost four metres long.
The second reptile was found on a farm in the Helpmekaar area and was a little shorter. Pieter released both snakes into a protected area outside Dundee.
