Kid gets new home after mommy dies
The farmer will return this afternoon to pick up the goat and take it to his farm, where he will look after it

An adorable female ‘kid’ goat was taken to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) this morning (November 22) after its mother was hit and killed by a vehicle.
A farmer who lives in Glencoe noticed the dead goat on the road and the young goat standing next to it. He stopped his vehicle to see if the kid was okay.
Police also stopped and he asked them if he could take the goat back to his farm. The officers said it was fine.
The farmer brought it to the AACL and will pick it up after he is done with his work in the area.
Annamarie Koen immediately fed the young animal and enjoyed playing with it.
The farmer will return this afternoon to pick up the goat and take it to his farm, where he will look after it.
