Jabulani Khanyile of Orange Grove believes the Chamber of Business needs to be revised to assist with the networking of businesses

Endumeni Municipality has made good its promise to encourage the growth of local businesses in a bid to boost the ailing local economy. A Business Summit, coordinated by the municipality, held over two days at the Oval was well supported by local business whose representatives made the time to make presentations to small and medium business entrepreneurs wanting to grow their business.
LB ‘Boxer’ Mpotshane Executive Manager Planning and Economic Development at the municipality, said the summit was away of bringing together big and small business people on one platform with an opportunity to network, exchange ideas, learn from one another and create an environment conducive for the accelerating growth.
Jabulani Khanyile of Orange Grove believes the Chamber of Business needs to be revised to assist with the networking of businesses. Presentations were also done by Buffalo Coal and Tourism Dundee.
Riaan Grobler of Standard Bank told the Courier he was very impressed with the summit.
“We need to boost our small local businesses. Small business people must know that there is help available. This summit exposes what assistance they can get – be it on how to draw up a business plan to coming up with ‘out of the box’ ideas that will create a business opportunity.”
