Newcastle SAPS commemorates World Aids Day

'This little light of mine', was symbolic as it signified there was always light at the end of every tunnel.

Newcastle SAPS officials and office members lit candles for World Aids Day in remembrance of all those who were infected by the virus, and to pay tribute to victims of sexual and domestic violence.

The theme of the event on November 29, ‘This little light of mine’, was symbolic as it signified there was always light at the end of every tunnel.

A prayer was said by members of the police.

Captain Dippenaar of Health and Wellness, together with members of the Department of Health, gave an awareness lecture.
