Endangered bird found in Helpmekaar Road
A bird catcher is on his way to remove the vulture which will be released at a reserve

A vulture, which is an endangered species, was spotted at a business premises in Helpmekaar Road this morning (January 16).
The sizeable bird is sitting on the roof and business people suspect that it may be injured.
An employee of the business told the Ladysmith Gazette that, early this morning, he saw huge flapping wings when he entered the premises. Looking up, he was astonished to see the bird fly up onto the rooftop. It is still sitting in the same position.
A bird catcher is on his way to remove this endangered bird and will take it to a reserve.
