Enjoying their first week of school at Edukidz

The busy routine helps put smiles on little faces and soon mom and dad are forgotten

Many brave and a few not-so-brave little ones started their schooling career at Edukidz this year.

Teachers were on hand to give emotional support to not only the few anxious newcomers, but to some very nervous and tearful moms too.

Being in a strange environment without mom and dad can be quite traumatic.

The busy routine, however, helps put smiles on little faces and soon mom and dad are forgotten.

The Toddlers’ Class, that caters for toilet-trained toddlers, is booming and has become increasingly popular over the past few years. Parents are relieved at having not only a place of care, but a school that educates and stimulates their precious little ones from an early age. You need no longer resort to someone’s garage and backyard, since Edukidz provides superior care in a stimulating environment with a busy and varied routine.

“A quick reminder that, yes, we are a registered school and also registered with the Education Department to teach up to and including Grade R. Knowing this gives you peace of mind that we conform to certain standards and more,” is the message from the school.

Visit the school between 3.30pm and 4.30pm, when a teacher on duty can give you a guided tour and answer all your questions.

The first week of school was surprisingly relaxed and organised, with only one or two little ones in tears when they were dropped off. The learners are already in full swing with the curriculum. After all, the first six years have everything to do with how the next 80 years turn out!
