Community support pours in for hamburger sale

THE glorious downpour that drenched Vryheid last Friday wasn’t the only thing that was well received by the community.
The Vryheid SPCA and Neighbourhood Watch Hamburger Sale that took place at Mega Steak Butchery to raise funds for both organisations was incredibly well supported by the public, with NTT Toyota once again placing a whopping order for 45 burgers and Annelize and Michael Nel from Die Nasorg and the MOTHS respectively ordering a massive combined order of 61!
Stephan Vickers and Andrè Rheder would like to thank the public for their overwhelming support, as well as the members who worked tirelessly to assist in making in excess of 700 burgers, which were sold on Friday, despite the inclement weather.
Due to the popularity of the hamburger sale in aid of these worthy organisations, it has been decided that it will be a monthly event and anyone who would like to support this initiative in the form of sponsorships or orders can contact Stephan Vickers at Mega Steak Butchery on 079 890 9084.
