Mr John Huggett has been appointed as the Treverton Preparatory Headmaster with effect from January 2017.

John is an experienced educator with a passion for the pastoral care of children and a love for the outdoors. He is a committed Christian with a firm belief in the principle of stewardship and values-based education.

John’s personal interests include climbing, hiking, camping, trout fishing and photography. John is married to Sue and they have two girls, Megan (10) and Joselyn (8).

John’s experience in the independent school sector includes four years at St Peter’s Preparatory in Johannesburg and five years as Deputy Headmaster at Cordwalles Preparatory in Pietermaritzburg. Since January 2015, he has been the Deputy Headmaster at Grayston Preparatory in Sandton.

The school believs that John’s experience, personal attributes and leadership style will bring about a new and exciting season for Treverton Prep.
