The Year of the Rooster has arrived
Although the Year of Rooster officially started on January 28, the Chinese Chamber planned the celebrations to take place last Saturday to ensure the entire Chinese community could enjoy the festivities together.
ARBOR PARK – Blackrock Casino played host to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce’s celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Although the Year of Rooster officially started on January 28, the Chinese Chamber planned the celebrations to take place last Saturday to ensure the entire Chinese community could enjoy the festivities together.

The celebration was preceded by two cultural dances.
Authentic Asian cuisine was served, and more traditional dances followed, offering the Chinese community to really embrace their ancient culture.
