Update: Savannah back on her feet after being poisoned

Quick-thinking Fanie Cilliers saved his dog's life

The Cilliers family from Ladysmith are all in good spirits and have smiles on their faces because their dog, Savannah, is back on her feet and running around again.

Savannah was poisoned almost 2 weeks ago and was at death’s door after not being able to eat or drink anything due to the poison that was in her system.

Quick-thinking Fanie Cilliers saved his dog’s life by quickly giving her Activated Charcoal and then putting her on a drip to get her body rehydrated again.

The Cilliers children, Shaun and Mishke, were filled with emotion during the weeks when their little dog was sick.
